one million dollars
Just getting started
Our family’s goal is to give away $1,000,000 in our lifetime.
We’re not quite sure how to get there, but we’ve realized that simply speaking the goal out loud has sparked others to evaluate their giving goals. If you’ve caught the spark, please let us know!
It started as a Michael Jordan painting in a Taylor Swift box.
“Have you been trained in interpretive dance?” the speaker asked after randomly calling me on stage. What did I get myself into? There are 500 people in this audience. “Don’t worry,” he said to the audience jokingly. “What happens in Austin, stays in Austin.” This sparked a chain of events that led to a family goal to give away a million dollars in our lifetime.
